Used city moves on the 10th July 24 to move us from Swansea to lincoln, Kirk who dealt with our enquiry was excellent and polite, The guys who turned up on the day were excellent from start to finish and were very polite and respectful off both properties, would definitely recommend. 😊

We used City moves for a big move and relocation to Yorkshire. Amazing company. Attentive from the start without being pushy. Very friendly, helpful and careful. There was nothing they wouldn’t do or move to help us, including a huge car lift. They never stopped working and were a joy to be around. Would very highly recommend.

Always friendly and helpful on the phone, called back when they said they would and costs explained clearly. Much respect for Steve our delivery driver making the trip from South Wales to the North of Scotland and still had a smile on his face – keep that man we need more like him.

Great customer service, value for money and the most courteous and polite removal men I have ever met. Used them a few times for both removal and storage, best service we’ve ever had from a removal company.

First Class Service from beginning to end – including the original site visit, plentiful supply of boxes, bubble wrap and tape included in costs and available from the depot. Arrived early on the day of the move and first class attitude by the guys with regard to moving of items from the old house and into the new house in very warm conditions – couldn’t thank these guys enough and will be recommending City Moves to friends and family in the future.

I have a shipping storage container held within the warehouse. The access is straightforward, and my stored items are safe and dry. Customer service is great. always helpful and friendly. The price is very competitive too.

Couldn’t recommend City Moves enough. Just used them to pack and move to a new house and they have taken the stress away. Awesome staff

I’ve just used City Moves for the 2nd time and again rate them 5/5. The whole process was professional, courteous and incredibly speedy. The journey from initial contact to waving goodbye at the end of the day was straightforward and I appreciated the personal service with Judi. The service on moving day was nothing short of exceptional. My wife plays the piano and has 25yrs with of plants in pots and other movers were daunted by the job, but not these guys. We really appreciated the professionalism but also the light-hearted friendly approach of the guys who turned up in their vans. Moving house is a stressful time and these guys made things so much easier. We really appreciate everything you did for us yesterday in Burry Port….and we’ll see you in 6 months for our final move. The three guys who did our move (sorry forgot their names) were absolutely fantastic. Good humoured but took the job very seriously and extremely professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I have used Citymoves three times. They are accommodating, speedy, careful, helpful and friendly.

Most helpful They turned up on time Worked hard, very quick and efficient, emptying my house within 2 hours, and once we got the keys to my new property, the guys set about offloading all my belongings. They made moving day a little less stressful. I would recommend them.

Head office was helpful and efficient, their quote was very reasonable especially compared to others. We had packers come in the day before our move, they were fast, careful and highly recommended. The removals team were fabulous – hard working, careful and worth their weight in gold. They didn’t stop all day (we have a LOT of stuff!) and kept cheerful with it! Diolch yn fawr iawn bois!

Having been on a comparison site I was directed to City Moves and another company. They both gave quotes and after some conversation, we negotiated a price. I was very grateful to them for that, and everything after that, from regular responses to emails, general customer service, the move itself on both sides was first class. The movers themselves were very quick, they were upbeat and ready for the extent of the work. They were polite and very respectful of the furniture. I would certainly recommend them.

Top movers

We were a bit nervous as this was our first move using a moving service. Moving within south wales. They arrived half an hour early and got started straight away. Very professional, quick and nice people. They didn’t have the tools to dismantle the bed, but I wouldn’t blame the movers as it didn’t seem like they were notified about it before the move. Either way, they didn’t take long before fixing the situation and getting on with it. It had no negative impact on the move.

Outstanding transatlantic removal company. Of seven such moves I have made this ranks with the best. Good honest estimate, highly efficient and friendly removers, the whole process was as painless as could be.

Used City Moves for a huge move from South Wales to Lancashire. The lads were friendly and respectful of both properties and managed to get the move done incredibly quickly. Would 100% recommend to anyone moving house.

Excellent friendly service. From the initial contact, video walk through – a few changes along the way ( on my part) they handled our move to storage professionally and courteously. Having to move house, rang a few companies to get quotes. City Moves were the only ones who came out and viewed the property to give a genuine estimate. Even though they were not the cheapest, when I advised them of this they price matched the lowest quote. They were very good with communication, keeping us updated by email. The day of the move the three man team were brilliant. They were so helpful and efficient in all that they did. They made a very stressful time bearable. All in all can’t fault this company from start to finish. Professional through and through.

Byron and Chris deserve a medal for how they helped me move last month. Absolutely wonderful team, so polite, professional and helpful. Literally couldn’t do enough for me, and went above and beyond with their attention to detail with everything. I am extremely grateful for them and although I hope I never have to move again, I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again if I did!
